I am sooo back!

I just realized I have been neglecting this blog and it's such a shame to just let it go I thought of reviving it.  So what has been happening with me?  Alright, it has been around 6 months since I have posted an entry and much has happened since.  To name a few:
  • I bought a new tennis racquet (Wilson K-Zen)...
  • I am into running now... I have joined about 5k runs 6 times already.  Although I haven't improved much -- my best time is 38mins, I am planning to lower this to 30mins (how I wish!!!).
  • I have been sick for the past month (cough! cough!) so I decided to rest first, meaning no tennis, and no running for the past 2 weeks.
  • That's it.  Yeah, my life can be pretty boring.
But wait... I'm already feeling better (from my cough/allergies) and I'm just taking my time this week, but next week ... I'm back in the court and the road once more.

Last night I played tennis with some friends at The Palms. Nice court - covered, good, hard surface, not much people around.  Well, that's because it's an exclusive court and we were just using our company's corporate account.
But with all these I wasn't satisfied at all with my game last night.  Was it because I'm getting old that I couldn't hit the ball hard enough?  Was it lack of practice?  E. told me it must be my racket - the head is a bit bigger for me that's why I couldn't make a full swing when I hit forehand.  Heniweys, I am now thinking of getting a replacement.  But ouch, it could cost a lot.  Just recently, I bought a tennis racket (Wilson K-Factor [K]obra) for my 10 year old daughter, who's also into tennis.  Hmm, I might just borrow from her.  If my game improves, then it really must bethe racket, and I'm buying a new one.
Gaahd, It's hard to say goodbye to my 5yr old Wilson N-Code.

I wanna be a billionaire so fxcking bad
buy all of the things I never had
uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine
smiling next to Oprah and the Queen

[Chorus]
Oh every time I close my eyes
I see my name in shining lights
A different city every night oh
I swear the world better prepare
for when I'm a billionaire

[Travis "Travie" McCoy]
Yeah I would have a show like Oprah
I would be the host of, everyday Christmas
give Travie a wish list
I'd probably pull an Angelina and Brad Pitt
and adopt a bunch of babies that ain't never had shit
give away a few Mercedes like here lady have this
and last but not least grant somebody their last wish
its been a couple months since I've single so
you can call me Travie Claus minus the Ho Ho
get it, hehe, I'd probably visit where Katrina hit
and damn sure do a lot more than FEMA did
yeah can't forget about me stupid
everywhere I go Imma have my own theme music

[Chorus]
Oh every time I close my eyes
I see my name in shining lights
A different city every night oh
I swear the world better prepare
for when I'm a billionaire
oh oooh oh oooh for when I'm a Billionaire
oh oooh oh oooh for when I'm a Billionaire

[Travis "Travie" McCoy]
I'll be playing basketball with the President
dunking on his delegates
then I'll compliment him on his political etiquette
toss a couple milli in the air just for the heck of it
but keep the fives, twentys, tens and bens completely separate
and yeah I'll be in a whole new tax bracket
we in recession but let me take a crack at it
I'll probably take whatevers left and just split it up
so everybody that I love can have a couple bucks
and not a single tummy around me would know what hungry was
eating good sleeping soundly
I know we all have a similar dream
go in your pocket pull out your wallet
and put it in the air and sing

[Bruno Mars]
I wanna be a billionaire so fricking bad
buy all of the things I never had
uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine
smiling next to Oprah and the Queen

[Chorus]
I wanna be a billionaire so frickin bad!

I'm forcing myself to write something here.  Not because I'm lazy to post an entry, but because I'm kind of time pressured.  Today, tomorrow and the day after, I will be attending a seminar at a nearby hotel, and the best part of it is that we'll have free breakfast.  So I just dropped by at the office early today, to charge an hour of work (the seminar is 8 hours long), besides, I still have plenty of work to do here in the office.
And I still managed to sneak in this entry.
Here's to keeping the blog alive!

Hah!  I'm suddenly back.  I have actually been visiting this site for a week now, but still don't know what to write about.  I just thought that I have to start with something short, just to getmy system going.
I'm writing this during office hours, I can't post photos yet, and I am in a hurry.  So this will be all... for now.
Hoping I can post something tonight... or tomorrow night...

Gosh, I haven't been blogging for the longest time, I almost forgot how to post in weebly.  And worse, I even had to think twice to figure out what my password is.

Tee-hee... so much have happened since.  We all know that my favorite Lee won the american idol.  But yeah, this is old news already.

i had an uneventful birthday.  i got a lot of greetings from my facebook account.  and from my girlfriends overseas.

I finished my tennis lessons and the coach let me participate in the beginners tournament.  Well, I reached the semis, but lost to two eighteen year olds.  At least I beat 2 sixteen year old girls and one lady my age. haha.  by the way, it was a singles event so it was really hard for me to run after the ball.  ugh, yeah, i'm full of excuses.

so why is this post titled "in hibernation"?  Sorry but i think i need a break.  perhaps i'll take the month off (as if i haven't done it already).  perhaps i'll sneak in and post once in a while.

nobody reads this anyway.

It's now down to 3 finalists - Lee, Crystal and Casey.  Of the 3, my favorite to win would be Lee - he's just so adorable and of course, with such nice singing voice... and the eyes!
Here' a duet of Lee and Crystal:
Apparently, the same song was sung by Kris Allen in last year's A.I. (Season 8).

Here's Kris and his rendition of "Falling Slowly":
...And the rest is history.  Kris Allen went on to win the American Idol, Season 8.
I hope Lee wins this year.
Falling Slowly (Lyrics)

I don't know you
But I want you
All the more for that
Words fall through me
And always fool me
And I can't react
And games that never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves out

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You'll make it now

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you had a choice
You've made it now
Falling slowly sing your melody
I'll sing along

Some interesting songs I found in the internet.  These are actually covers of songs of Hall and Oates, who were one of the music icons in the 80s.
Below is the song "She's Gone"...

I'm supposed to be in hibernation, but the truth is, I wasn't able to post the past days because I got so busy.  Better get busy than to mope and bury myself into self pity.

So I'm back into tennis!  I enrolled in this summer tennis clinic in our place and for all I care that most of my classmates are kids.  One of them is even my daughter's classmate.  I'm not embarrased at all because I'm the best in the class, hahaha!  Actually I only enrolled to improve my serving skills but I ended up doing the lessons from the start, just like a beginner.  It's alright because I haven't been playing for some time now so it's a good way to refresh my skills.
I also began practising table tennis because we will be having our TT Tourney in the office soon.  We also have a tennis event but I don't know yet if it's going to push through.

But after all these activities... at the end of the day... I think I still need a hug.
Check out this video below...

Backgrounder:
A man, under the pseudonym Juan Mann, was able to start the Free Hug Campaign on June 30, 2004 in central Sydney. He decided to start the campaign because he became upset when he got off a plane in Sydney and saw everyone else hugging but had no one to hug himself. So, he went to the busiest intersection in Sydney and held up a sign that said "Free Hugs". The police tried to shut him down and require him to obtain public liability insurance, but he says his "sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to brighten up their lives in this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact".

Unbeknownst to most, Juan Mann was actually brightening these people's lives as hugs have quite a few health benefits. Even if you don't like to hug people,
I want to urge you to hug as many people as possible; it may lead to a longer life or at least a more enjoyable one.
